On Sunday morning, the temperature was already close to 30° in Adria for the last three Qualifying Heats of the FIA Karting European Championship – KZ2. The hierarchy was not upset by these three races. Giuseppe Palomba (Birel ART/TM) did not try to win at all costs against Danilo Albanese (KR/Iame) who had been penalised the day before, as well as many other drivers for the start of the A-F heat. The two rivals will occupy the front row of the Final grid ahead of Giacomo Pollini (CRG/TM) and Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM), the other two winners of the morning in the fight for the title. Paavo Tonteri (CRG/TM) had climbed to 5th place in the ranking ahead of Sam Luyet (Tony Kart/Vortex), who was very solid, and Hubert Petit (Sodi/TM), while Kajus Siksnelis (Energy/TM) was in 8th place. Laurens Van Hoepen (Birel ART/TM), 3rd in the Championship, was 9th ahead of Arthur Carbonnel (Sodi/TM) who was very convincing in the battle. Just behind the very combative David Liwinski (Birel ART/TM), Alessio Piccini (Birel ART/TM) had moved up from 30th to 12th position, while Lorenzo Travisanutto (Parolin/TM), in 13th, was proving to be more and more incisive in the battles. Jamie Day (Birel ART/TM) in 15th and Leonardo Marseglia (KR/Iame) in 16th put in very good performances. Another CPB Sport driver, Nikita Artmonov (Sodi/TM) came back from 27th to 19th place, while Juho Valtanen (KR/TM) was down in 22nd place after two difficult heats. Thomas Imbourg (Sodi/TM) qualified 24th and Jean Nomblot (Sodi/TM) came back from 56th to 33rd.
